Marie T. Morris, 94, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 31, 2020 at home with her daughter by her side.
Born in Trenton she was a longtime area resident.
She was a life member of the De Cou Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary, the Mercer County Firemen’s Association Ladies Auxiliary, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Firemen of the State of New Jersey, and the De Cou Sunshine Senior Citizen Club.
Marie was a member of Pierson Memorial Church. She worked at the Horseman Doll Company, Atlantic Products and then for many years in the records department at the State of New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicle, from which she retired from.
Predeceased by her parents, Harry and Nettie (Kirkland) Chumar, her husband Leroy H. Morris, her siblings, Richard Chumar, Charles Chumar, and Kate Paliticz, she is survived by her loving daughter, Jeanette Morris and her fiancé, Richard Dayton; grandson, Steven Ayling, Jr. and his wife Colleen; great granddaughters, Sophia and Olivia Ayling; nieces, nephews, cousins, many dear friends and neighbors, including the Gadsby family.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday,
January 6, 2021 at 11:00am at Colonial Memorial Park, 3039 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to
