Clara Chojnowski, 94, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at home, while surrounded by her loving family.
Born in she was a lifelong Trenton resident. Clara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put the needs of others before her own.
Predeceased by her parents, Paul and Mabel McCormick; her beloved husband, Stephen R. Chojnowski, her siblings, Gloria Engel, Robert McCormick and Richard McCormick, and her son Mark Chojnowski.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Jr., Cathy Horner, Clara Smallwood, Joseph, Timothy, and Thomasene Chojnowski; her siblings Marion Konopitski, Paul McCormick, Patricia Engel, Alice Papiez, Shirley Dombroski, Constance Kaufman and Carol McCormick; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and many many nieces and nephews.
Services are private and under the care of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
Clara will be laid to rest alongside her husband Stephen at Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, masks and social distancing are required and capacity restrictions will be followed for all services.
