Clyde J Quin

May 15, 1934 - March 22, 2019

Clyde J. Quin, 84, of Hamilton Township passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family.


Born in Ewing Township, NJ, he was a lifelong Hamilton area resident.


An Army Veteran, Clyde retired from PSE&G after 37 years of service. He was a longtime parishioner of Holy Angels/St. Raphael Parish where he also served as an usher for many years. Clyde was very involved with nature and archeology his entire life. He grew up exploring the marsh with his dog Duke, collecting artifacts. He was a member of Friends of the Marsh and Tulpehaking Nature Center. He also was a volunteer for the Alfred Wagner Prison Ministry, Archeological Society of NJ, Camp Olden Civil War & Native American Indian Museum. He also enjoyed outdoor activities, canoeing/kayaking, camping trips, visiting Cape May & Ocean Gate, and enjoyed country music. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and father-in-law, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.


Son of the late Doris Schuck Quin Thompson, brother of the late Doris Ferguson and Catherine Patrico; he is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Rosemarie Wolfer Quin; his five children and their spouses, Lois and Bill Dwyer, Karen and Tom O’Mara, Kathy and Ed Quirk, Marjorie and Frank Santivansky, and Brian and Christina Quin; six grandchildren, Dan, Ben, and Kara Dwyer, Luke O’Mara, and twins, Kylie and Mya Santivansky; special thanks to his Hospice nurse, John Velasco; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.


Relatives and friends may attend a visitation on Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville.


The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at 8:30 a.m. from the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. at St. Raphael Church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
