Dolores Liick Evans, 91, of Burlington passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Grandville House in Burlington, NJ.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Dolores was a resident of Groveville for most of her life before moving to Whiting, and most recently Burlington. She was a member of Groveville United Methodist Church and their choir. Dolores was a secretary for the State of NJ, Dept. of Corrections, and retired after 23 years of service. Along with her late husband Richard, they enjoyed square dancing with the Princeton Squares. She was a former member of the Golden Hour Senior Club, and the Red Hat Society.
Predeceased by her parents, William and Bertha (Porches) Liick, her husband, Richard L. Evans and her son, Barry Evans, her son Michael Evans, her daughter-in-law Laura Evans; she is survived by her son Roy Evans of Stuart, Florida; daughters, Sandy and Dr. George Patrick of Beltsville, MD, Terry Evans of Hadden Twp., NJ, and Jodee and Dennis Dickey of Coudersport, PA; a sister Joyce DiMattia; six grandchildren, Sarah Harris (Kyle), Gabriel Lihvarcik (Michelle), Eric Rousseau (Heather), Elliot Dickey (Rita), Jillian Alonso (Carlos), Austin Dickey (Arielle); nine great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held 11 am on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the
Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, with local clergy officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until time of service at the Yardville Home.
Burial will follow in Groveville Cemetery
