Florence L. Merico, 93, of Trenton, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong area resident. Florence worked for many years in the accounting office at American Cyanamid in Lawrence Township. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and friends. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, and in her younger years she played organized softball and enjoyed bowling. Most recently she was a member of many different Senior Clubs in the Trenton/Hamilton area.
Predeceased by her parents, Frank Lemke and Mary White; her husband Jesse Merico; and her siblings Margaret Such, Estella Lemke and Frank Lemke; she is survived by her children, Cynthia DiTullio, and David Merico and his wife Marie; grandchildren Christian DiTullio, Michelle (John) Marandola, Anthony Handy, Michael Handy, Wayne Handy and Angel Merico as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Riverview Cemetery, 870 Center Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
Services are under the direction of Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
