Jacob S. Blanche II

April 3, 1951 - December 16, 2019

Jacob S. Blanche II, 68 of Hamilton passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019, in Samaritan Hospice at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, surrounded by his loving family.


Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident raised in the White City Lake section of Hamilton. Jesse Jake from White City Lake as he was known was a 300 blocker. He retired from the Township of Hamilton with over 20 years of service. In his spare time Jake was an avid diehard NY Yankees fan. He also enjoyed watching the History Channel and loved reading the Bible. Jake was always the life of the party and liked to sing, he will be greatly missed. Most of all he loved watching his grandsons playing basketball and baseball always attending all their sporting events. Jake loved spending time with his grandsons playing wiffle ball in the backyard, vacationing in Wildwood, and hours of video poker on the boardwalk.


Son of the late Jacob and Alice Adams Blanche, Sr., brother of the late Richard Blanche, and Alice Lamantia, step-father of the late Fred McKee and Ed McKee, he is survived by his daughter Tina Raba and her husband Chris, his former wife Judie Blanche; two stepdaughters, Sandra Juliano and husband Frank, and Michele Harms and husband Sven; grandsons Brandon and Jordan Raba; two nieces and their spouses, Alicia and Rob Riley, and Erika and Dave Houseworth, nieces, Kim and Lori, and nephew Adam; brother-in-law Joe Lamantia; step grandchildren, Ian Siomak, Jennifer James, Fred McKee, Matteo and Isabella Juliano; two daughters, Stephanie Masi and Melissa Blanche; many great nieces, great nephews, other family members, close friends, and his grand puppy Mugsy.


Relatives and friends may attend a visitation on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton. A Catholic prayer service will be held 11 a.m. at the memorial home with local clergy officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
