Janet Conners, 87, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Trenton, she was a longtime area resident. She retired as a deli manager from Shop N Bag in Ewing and was a member of the Meat Cutters Union Local 56. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing, boating, going to the beach, and trips to all of the casinos. She loved her home and took great care of her yard and flower garden. Janet was a big fan of the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Eagles. She loved celebrating holidays with her family, they called her the “Queen of Christmas”, as it was her favorite. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Vanita (Weber) Rimo, her husband Jerry Conners, her sisters, Selma Burch and Eleanor Baker, and her son-in-law Bill Teehan. She is survived by her son, Jerry (Antoinette) Conners; daughters, Patricia Teehan, Carol (Steve) Gephart, Debbie Baranowski and Joanne Brihn; her twin sister, Joan Rogers; 11 grandchildren, Laura Conners, Karen Tiger, Jennifer Conners, Sandy Teehan, Erica Smith, Jacki (Angel) Rosa, Angela (Chip) Brihn-Walter, Rachel (Tom) Duffe, Richard Brihn, Sean Smith, and Andrew Baranowski; 10 great-grandchildren; beloved grand-dog Muffin, as well as many nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the Yardville Home
Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan, NJ.
