Kathryn Elizabeth McGarrity, 52, of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at her residence.
Born in Ewing Twp., NJ, she was a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Ewing Highschool class of 1986, Katie currently attended Grand Canyon University, as a Dean’s list student studying Psychology. She was previously employed with the State of NJ, Dept. of Treasury. Some of her hobbies include cooking, animals, reading and any kind of family vacations and adventures.
Predeceased by her parents Arthur James McGarrity and Jean McGarrity Anderson, and her step sister Katie Anderson, she is survived by her children, Jessica German and her wife Kaylee, Jacqulyn McGarrity, Megan McGarrity and Arthur James Perry; the father of her children, Matthew German; a brother, Daniel (Jamie) McGarrity; step-siblings, Julie (Bill) Callas, Pat (Charlene) Anderson, and Mike (Sharon) Anderson; aunt, Betty Grimm; nephew, Gabriel McGarrity; cousins, Randy Egner and Eric Egner; grandchildren, Aurora German, Riley Sharp and Anah Sharp, as well as many other family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton. A Catholic prayer service will be held 12 p.m. at the memorial home with local clergy officiating. Burial will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery.
