Nancy A. (Manness) Scharnitz, of Yardville, passed away on April 20, 2021 at Fox Chase Cancer Center surrounded by her family.
Born in Trenton, NJ to Axford and Olive (Lingrell) Manness, Nancy was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Hamilton High West, and married her high school sweetheart, Martin Scharnitz. They were married 47 years. She worked for Lenox China for 19 years, then Allied Vision in Robbinsville for the last 15 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and cooking and entertaining. She will be dearly missed.
Predeceased by her parents, and sister, Esther Manness, she is survived by her husband Marty, daughters April Ensinger (Keith), Jennifer Darvas (Dennis), and Christina Dickson, close brother-in-law Joseph Scharnitz (Nikki), close sister Toni Manness, and many grandchildren (Braden, Amanda, Kyle, Zachary, and Breanna), nieces and nephews (Kyle, Justin, and Laura).
In lieu of flowers and a service, memorial donations can be made in Nancy's honor to Fox Chase Cancer at Temple Hospital Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111 or any cancer center of your choice.
