Stanley C. Chojnowski, 81, of Yardville, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton/Yardville area resident.
An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Stanley retired from the Trenton Fire Department with over 25 years of service. In his spare time, he was an avid fisherman, enjoyed rooting for the Duke Blue Devils basketball team, and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Son of the late William and Stella Janski Malesa, husband of the late Gladys Cunningham Chojnowksi, and brother of the late Jules, Frank, Gus, and Stephen Chojnowski, he is survived by his two sons, Joseph Bozak and his wife Debra, and Stanley J. Chojnowski; his sister Charlotte Kerwick; longtime lady friend Maryann Szedula; 3 step grandchildren, 4 great step grandchildren, and 2 great great step grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Relatives and friends may attend a visitation on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at St. Raphael Church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
