William P. "Billy" Danenhower of Cream Ridge, New Jersey

September 20, 1964 - November 27, 2020

William Danenhower, 56, of Cream Ridge, NJ

On Friday, November 27, 2020, Billy died suddenly and unexpectedly of a previously unknown heart and lung condition while at home in Cream Ridge, NJ. Billy passed on the same day with the same illness as his father fifteen years apart…….a FOREVER BOND.

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late William C. and Elizabeth (Quinn) Danenhower, and the Uncle/Godfather to the late Michael Neary Jr.

Billy had an adventurous spirit and an immense love of outdoors. Various times in his life he could be found boating, deep sea fishing, canoeing, hunting, camping, and he loved to fish in any river or ocean, but particularly in Pt. Pleasant. He also enjoyed cooking, NASCAR, pulling the lever at the casinos, and his daily WORD SEARCH puzzles.

Billy’s working life was through contracting his skill and craftmanship of “anything wood”. He was an accomplished carpenter and custom finisher.

Twenty years ago, Billy met Denise Szeker, the love of his life. Billy and Denise loved each other and life, and together they made a home. Billy loved his home and his many neighbors of Deep Run. He called them his “Village Friends”. There was not a thing he would not do for any one of them. He loved them and they loved him.

He is survived by his beloved life-partner Denise Szeker; his loving sisters Lori Alvarez and Nancy Mutek-Danenhower; special nieces and nephews, Joey Haas, Nicole Hamilton, Jessyka Mutek, Lance Mutek, Anthony, Jaida, and Kaden Hamilton, and Kashe Neary; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his extended family of Loretta Haines, along with many friends.

Billy had a true presence whose kind heart, laughter and incredible smile touched everyone.

As difficult as this decision is, we are following Billy’s known wishes that there be no public memorial service. Interment will be private.

Services under the direction of Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
